Hi,
Just finishing up the -81 prolink restoration with new seals for the fron fork. Now the question is what oil to use and how much, Honda says 305ml ATF, any experiences, recommendations?

Use 10wt fork oil - whatever brand you like. Then throw out Honda's recommendation for volume and fill each leg to 6 inches from the top, fork collapsed and spring out. It will be more than Honda calls for. That'll work as good as they get.

Thanks Dave,

Any idea what volume that is per leg?

I don't know but a qt/litre will do it.

Ok,
So I leave the springs out, compress the leg to full stop and fill until 6 inches from the top, right? What about the air pressure, according to the book or?

You can run 5-10 lbs of air. With the weight of the fairing, it needs it.

Ok, 5-10 lbs is the same as 5-10 psi, or? Sorry for asking but I'm a meyric guy and want to make sure I don't misunderstand. :D

Yes, psi per the label on the fairing.

The label is on the right side fairing pocket cover and it also says 0.7 +/- 0.2 kg/cm and 70 +/- 20 kPa

Falls bei deiner Prolink das Schildchen fehlt.
