Engine Vibration

Post by robsgreen »

Hi Guys
Just wanted peoples thoughts on engine vibration.

Im still running in ( about 300 miles so far)and all seems well but Ive noticed once I get to about 6,000 revs a vibration starts to tingle the bars and foot pegs at about 75-80mph in top. This isn't too bad and when Ive ventured up to the upper ranges of the rev counter the vibration stays the same and doesnt get any worse. Is this normal? its silky smooth up to 6000. The engine is very quiet and runs really well.

Best Regards

Martin

Normally these CBX engines are very smooth.
If the engine has been out of the frame I'd go back and check the torque of all
the mount bolts first.
