Fuel injected, intercooled, twin turbo CBX

Post by Kool_Biker »

I came across THIS, in Athens last Sunday.
Not sure yet which elements are a home brew, but met the owner - nice chap - who invited me to his garage (he is a bike mechanic) to take a closer look.
He claimed 248 BHP ..
True or fictitious, I was impressed!

Aris, did you get to hear it run?
From the looks of the front tire he has been having some fun.
This is a video on the build. Turn your volume off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1HSQ8Uzv3o

Well Aris looks like you have found a new play friend.

So when do we get to read about your CBX turbo install? we all know this new guy is gonna be a bad influence on you.

Steve, it sounded sweet. And yes, the video is gross, no tribute to the real thing.
As for the tires, when we met, the owner casually mentioned he had just finished a bit of drag racing (sic) in the old airport at the edge of town.
I wish I was there.

I would not try to go around a corner with that thing. But a straight line would be wild fun!

That is incredible.

I guess there aren't very many vendors out there that offer pod filters with a beveled edge! By the looks of the tires it does get a good workout through the turns though.
