Will a 81/82 cylinder fit on a 80 block without any issues except the paint difference?-

The center 4 cylinder studs are smaller on your early block. Might be a sealing issue on top if using the late head, but wouldn't think so if using the early head. I'm referring to the copper sealing washers on the cap nuts.

I was wanting to use a late model cylinder and a early model head. This should be fine then?
