Timing

Post by Motoguy@64 »

Have just put in Dyna Ignition. Engine runs but when I do dynamic timing F line is always at about 12 oclock instead of at 3 where the engine seam is.Moving ignition plate does not seem to have any effect. Have been timing Chevys for years, but I have no clue in this case. HELP..

Is this a fresh rebuilt motor or a stock motor that was running fine before you installed the dyno ign ?

Are your springs and weights moving freely on the advancer, what year CBX and what's the number stamped on your advancer?
