I'm considering installing a cooler from a '99 Hayabusa. Along with new braided oil lines I'm hoping to reduce the heat somewhat as it gets bitchin' hot here in the middle of summer...

Big Bore kit

Post by ken79 »

Hey guys,
Just wanted to ask a couple questions regarding the big bore kits out on
the market. I think I read recently on Tim's website that they are no
longer making a Wiseco big bore kit for the CBX. Can anybody confirm
or deny that that is the case? And if that is the case, does that leave just
the Arias kit? Are there any differences (besides displacement) between
the two kits?
While I'm not ready to pursue this option for my bike yet, I'd still like
to think the option exists in the future. Although, any more power may
not be a good thing   Thanks in advanced

Ken

Big Bore Mistake

Post by ken79 »

Just went back to Tim's, and the information was on standard pistons,
not the big bore kit. Sorry for the mistake. All other questions are
still open to response.
