Con Rods

Post by CopperCollar »

I have been studying before I assemble The Travestys engine.

Looking at the rods I understand the # and letters. I dont understand the difference between an S1 or S2 rod.
I have one rod marked S1 and the rest S2.

We don't really know either, but you can trust the weight codes. From the factory they should all be the same - C in your case? The journal codes will vary, but the letter codes should match. Currently Honda says A and B match, C and D and E match, and F and G match. I've never seen any E, F or G rods. Anyway, just match your C rods with the same, since there are lots of Cs out there.
