Sounds good! Glad my mechanic has one... :D

Say Mike, you going to ride out to Colorado in August?
It ain't the destination, its the journey...

Thanks for asking Terry, maybe one of these times. By the way, someone just told me this tool is still available from Honda. Is it? I have heard it was discontinued. Not my auction by the way, in case you're wondering. :)

I have seen them for sale at other places. Don't consider them particularly rare. 8)

Oh darn, I was hoping they're valuable. I threw out all of Kayeboo's M. I. Hummel and Lladro figurines to make room for my hoard of valve adjusting tools. Are you sure they're not valuable? The valve adjusting tools? Oop's, I might be in trouble.

George: You are going totally in the wrong direction! All the cool cats know, Sport Kit Speedo Cables are where it's at. I've been cornering the market on these. I buy up every example I can find.

... Looks like early retirement for me...

Man, am I smart. If I wuz any smarter, I'd be a half wit...

If Dan and I go into business together (and put on a little more weight) we can bill ourselves as the World's Largest CBX Used Parts Dealer :D :D :D :D :D :D

Looks I started something. Gotta be careful when it comes to the jaded folks on this forum, I guess. :) I am still surprised, to be honest, that this tool is still available. I have been told dealers don't know how to order it, from folks who I have recommended it to.

Ricardo told me to have you mail it to me and I'll return it to him. Really. But first I must corrupt the morals of Mike Nixon. I figure if I can do that, TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION will be a snap. :D

but back to the subject at hand-the valve adjusting tool is up to $37 with $9.50 shipping for a tool you can get similar to it and will do the same job from motionpro for $18.90. Part #08-0018

I think the specific Honda tool is a little different to the commonly available ones and the set consists of two tools, a hold down and a shim picker, while the generic one is just this - one tool, the hold down tool. I have used it, however, without a problem and have moved the shims in and out with a large tweezers from one of my wife's "beauty care" sets

I've seen one of those, but it had batteries and vibrated.
