Cranking Compression

Post by Passx »

Guy's

Has any of you done a cranking compression test on the Tim's big bore kits ? Specifically what I'm looking for is the actual difference between the low compression and the hi compression versions. I'm ready to buy haven't decided on which one. Thanks in advance.

The theoretical values are 154.33 PSIG for the low compression & 161.7 PSIG for the high compression (without further modification to head plane.) This is not taking into account volumetric pumping efficiency, valve timing/overlap &/or leakdown.
