Similar HONDA Clutch

Post by Tourville »

Is there a HONDA Clutch Assembly perhaps 750 or 900
similar in design - close to what the CBX 1000 Pro Link uses?

Perhaps similar to another Brand?

Slipper Clutch Manufacturer Asked.

Doesn't have a CBX 1000 Pro Link
available - Eastern Europe.

No. You may find similar or even identical plates, but the baskets are unique. No other Honda clutch comes close.

Curious: Have you experienced a situation with the CBX where you found a slipper clutch would have been of advantage?
The main purpose of a slipper clutch is preventing "rear wheel hop" and/or rear wheel blocking when downshifting at high speeds in racing.
I track a 1996 Ducati 916SP which does not have a slipper clutch and I have not missed it.

Lightened reciprocating engine mass deceleration will bring on 'rear wheel hop'

A healthy 'Cush Drive' could be an answer too.
