well it's comforting to know I'm not the only one experiencing it and so it's most likely not anything serious.
I gave the clutch more of a workout before I began today's first ride...pulled in the lever 4-5times, put it into gear while it was on the center stand, back into neutral, then back to 1st...brought it down and cruised away.
