Engine bogging high speeds

Post by DevonCbx »

Hello everybody! Thanks for the reply. Regarding the performance of the bike, I thought I may need more air flow. The stock air filter in which I oiled like the manual says, to use a 80/90 grade oil and then wring out. I may have not wrang enough oil out. I tryed to run my CBX without a filter temporarly. Well guess what? The bike ran like a charm again. As far as varoius speeds, I took it up to about 170KM and let me tell you like you said, the bike just takes off. If I drop a gear our two, well as all you seasoned bike riders know. HANG ON TIGHT!!!!!! The last bike I had ridden was a CB 900 F. This CBX is unbelievable! What a ride. Take care all
