Larry: That doesn't look like the bushing you show a picture of in your first post. I thought you were talking about 52102-469-000...

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Mike, (all)
52102-469-000 is a hollow cylindrical steel 'sleeve' that Honda call a collar. It is the inner piece that rides in the bushings. The bushings, 52466-MA2-300, are flanged oil-filled synthetic material (generically a 'plastic'). The swingarm bushing and the dog-bone bushings (52465-MA2-300) are very similar; except, the flange of the swingarm bushings is wider than that dog-bone bushing with the overall length being, therefore, longer for the swingarm bushing; and, its accompanying 'collar'.

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Mike: I think everything Larry and others are referring to in this thread would be dealing with the Pro-Link-specific linkage and would not carry a 469 part number. Those would only be for the actual swingarm pivot, which is the same as the '80 model.

Dave: This is why this is all so confusing. Parts 21 and 22 on above diagram are still available from CSNL, last time I checked.

And I think that was acknowledged, just looking for other options here in the states, I think.

Not the part 22 52466-MA2-300 bushing. "Part not available" They'll put you on a list for when they get one. Don't hold your breath.

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Funny. When I made that post about the parts, they still showed available. Someone must have bought them all. Wouldn't be the first time. Watch for them to show up some other place for $300.- a piece.

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Guys,
US dollar almost evened out with euro so now maybe good time to buy stuff from Europe.
Six center from holland has these bushings and collars. Complete set is 120 euro which is about $130.
They also have bronze bushings for the shifter under $10

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Sasha, all,
When it's the 'only game in town' (CMSNL), that's what you do. Note that shipping will be in the neighborhood of $25 - $30. Also, they do not have the bushings that go into the swing arm. Those are different than the dog-bone bushings due to the width of the flange. Yes, they will fit into the swing arm. However, there will be a gap between the bushing and the swing arm. If desperate for the moment, it might be possible to make a spacer to place between the seal and the swing arm. It will, however, decrease the bearing area. Also, the collar(s) would require cutting to appropriate length. I have not tried this; just a thought.
One other thing, CMSNL delivery does not appear to be operating at 'urgent' level!

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Larry,
I have not confirmed with Sixcenter, but the picture appears to show the correct setup. There are 4 metal collars and 8 bushings for the dog legs, and 2 longer collars with 4 bigger/longer bushings for the swingarm.

Re: Prolink Rear Suspension Link Bushings
Well, they are available now and price is about $50 less now then they were last year due to dollar being higher.
I don't need them now but I'll order them anyway for the future. Ill let you guys know how much it's going to be for the shipping.

Sasha - Why? The ones we may make are going to be bronze - not this plastic. Should be a much better part. If you don't need them, why not wait and see what we conjure up?cross wrote:Well, they are available now and price is about $50 less now then they were last year due to dollar being higher.
