Levelling the bike (Shocks)

Hi all,

While rebuilding I decided to buy some non expensive OE reproduction shocks for the bike. While they are fine for the riding I do, something I dislike is that the bike rides with the rear end low, kind of sitting back (even with all preload in). I would like it to be level while riding. Any suggested shocks, lengths, springs that would accomplish this? I am willing to go for good shocks, so price is not a main concern and they don't need to be OE like.

Thanks

Ramon

Ramon -

The 79/80 rear shock should measure 360 mm / 14 inches eye to clevis as per this thread:

Another option is a shock extender. I have one on my CB900F because the shocks I bought for it were a bit short. The extender works great.

Progressive 12 Series and Hagon Classic are a couple of shocks that would work on your bike.
Both companies can give you info on spring rates.

Another option is to contact Nils about Ikon shocks.

Thanks to both. I will research those options.
