Gearing 18/44

Post by CBXJOHNNY »

Chain and sprockets are next to order. I'm thinking 530 chain and 18/44, I want max accelertion don't care about top end speed. Also want long chain and sprocket life. Are the 530 chain solid (no master link). Thanks

You can get the 530 chain either way, but the best ones will have a rivet link. Stock gearing (18/42) will give you the best performance. Honda got it right.
