Lower rear shock bushing 79 cbx

Hi everybody, tomorrow I want to drop off my swingarm to get it powder coated. I ordered new bushings for the bottom of the shock but I can not find anything on removing or installing them? Thanks for your help.

I haven't done it but I would think they would just press out on a press.

Hi,
Yes, they are a press fit.
I use two sockets to get them out:
- one slightly larger that the bush (so the bush fits inside it), one slightly smaller
- put the two sockets either side of the bush on the swing arm
- put bolt / stud thro' the middle and tighten it up

Thanks I'll give a try. It look'd like it was molded in there and honda shop mamual said nothing about it

Did mine today, took 3t on the press to move them.
