Real performance or junk ?

RC Exhaust ? never heard of them any comments on them , and i can't find them here for info, just bought this bike 2 weeks ago RC marks stamped on the barrels also looking for a left hand grip also ? Image

Russ Collins early exhaust. Not many around, that's why you don't hear much about them. Personally never came across one. But RC had a solid reputation and was performance oriented. If the exhaust is in line with that, it should be good.

I had a set on my 79. I loved them. In fact I contacted R.C. Engineering last year to see if they had any plans to start manufacturing them again. They are a little loud but look really good!

Agree that they are REALLY loud. Rode with a member at several early rallies that had them on his '82 and they made your teeth rattle.

Did the seller tell you the size of the engine?
The wide rear spoke wheel is also of interest to me. The struts not so much. haha.

The seller is a friend bike has sat for about 12 years, put some fresh fuel in it and jumped started it,, fired right up with choke on, all the candles Light up ! good oil pressure would not idle (carbs) dirty, ran it for a 10 minutes, we are going through the paperwork he gave me trying to figure out what RC # is really old , dated 1985,,btw I worked down the street from Russ Collins in Gardena Ca and had RC cams and bore kit in my CB 750 Dragbike back in 74 lol...Wheels ? http://www.kosmanspecialties.com/

steve if you left click on that picture i think it will go to my Photo bucket for more pictures of some of my stuff, bike is torn down now for rehab and paint chrome have not updated build yet
