Carb. Setting with marshall 6-1

Post by bhf »

Previus owner had kn pods and marshall on. I think :? Never seen it together, but now i have put it together. Cleaned the carbs totally, and not knowing that the standard needels where replaced with some with clips on. Taking it for a test drive, think it gets to much fuel. Black sparks. No pull in the rews.
Cannot remember the jetting size. Think they are stock.

Whats the best config. For the carbs, with stock airbox and papir filter and marshall exhaust? Got stock needles from a rep. Kit i bought for overhauling the carbs.

Sorry my bad scholl english :shhh:

bhf, i used this Marshall system with the stock airbox, single paper filter and stock carb jetting.
This was on a '79 and the bike ran fine. No stumble and a mellow tone.

I have Steve's Marshall deeptone on my 79 with stock air box and jetting.

Runs great, very nice sound.

My favorite pipe so far.
