79 Factory Exhaust

Post by 79cbx »

I was at an auction the other day and walking through the yard of stuff was a set of factory 79 exhaust pipes. I couldn't believe my eyes as the auction flyer said nothing of motorcycle parts being available. Well, I just had to leave with those pipes because I like the look of original pipes and my first acquired 79 bike didn't have original pipes on it when I bought it a couple months ago. I was able to get the CBX pipes along with an original set of pipes for an FX Harley and a set of drag pipes for the Harley. I got all 3 sets for $475. I feel I did OK. Still can't believe my dumb luck. 8)

Yeah, they are gently used. In decent shape with no dents or scrapes, they do have pitting though. But they look awesome at 5 feet and beyond. :D
