Water in the exhaust

Post by Samelak »

I just installed a new MAC exhaust and I am getting a lot of water leaking from the left side were it slips onto the header. A good cup of rusty water blows out when I start the bike the next day. Obviously its condensation, but is this normal?

Yes, which is why Mac exhausts get rusty. The right side is probably better sealed, so all that condensation goes into muffler, where it begins the rusting process.
