Alternator Drive and Driven plates

Post by surftalks »

What should NEW or plates in very good condition look like? Mine look like disc brake rotors with some grooves. I was thinking of taking them down to a smooth surface on both but I'm not sure if that's what they are suppose to look like.

Thanks!
