indicator relay on 79

the indicator relay has 3 terminals marked E B L
can some enlighten me as to what colour wires goes on which terminal.

Neil: "spencer" is one of the electrical experts, he has done quite some work on the turn signals and the relays. Maybe he will chime in. One thing, though, I checked some old relays and mine only have two connections... :think:

the original has 3 terminals( which is bust) but the replacement only has 2 L and B hopefully someone will point me in the right direction

My wiring diagram also shows only two connections to the relay. :think:

You can use either 2 or 3 lead flashers. If yours is only two terminals, it should be pretty easy to figure out. Don't connect the green wire to anything. Connect the other two leads to the flasher. If it doesn't work, reverse the connections. One way or the other, it should work. It may work either way. If you have a three terminal flasher, and still don't know which way to connect it, let me know, and I will take a look at mine to see if I can figure it out. If I remember, I am using a solid state two terminal flasher. It will flash anything, including LEDs which is what I have.
