Spark advance assembly.

Post by steve murdoch icoa #5322 »

Should there be ANY lateral movement in the spark advance assembly?
No signs of wear and the springs snap back when the rotated clockwise but i noticed it moves laterally about 2mm. The washer is there and the bolt is tight.

The reluctor is large enough to trigger the pickups.

No movement = no advance.
