Headlamp bulb

Post by oldbikerdude »

Hi guys, Taking the fairing apart to give it a good deep clean and pulled out the headlamp bulb,
Its an H4, 9003
Not sure how old this is, but my question is,
Are there modern replacements that offer better illumination.
Don't want the LED route, or something that requires housing or wiring mods.
Would just like plug and play.
Any suggestions.

This led bulb is plug and play, draws only 10 watts and is 4000 lumens. A big improvement over a halogen bulb in my opinion

Was looking also for LED brake and turn signal bulbs that are plug and play, but haven't had any luck finding them yet.
Anyone out there do this mod as well.

There is a write up on here who tested a bunch of different bulbs and had posted the best ones. Search for it

I did order some LED's headlights as well as some of the tail, signal and running lights, and speedo, tach, and voltmeter leds.
Got some extras as well, likely they will go into the Goldwing.
Thanks for all the help

Okay, Autofeel is the brand, did you order them through Amazon.ca?
Just that i have had a couple issues lately with stuff coming from the States.

Think it was Amazon .com that I ordered from.
So far, my headlamps order does not have a delivery due date.

Received the headlight LEDs by 12/21, a week before latest delivery of 12/28,
Already installed in headlight socket, but not tried out yet.
Here's the bulb.
Thanks to Hondaman 160 who recommended the plug and play LED replacements.
