Auto Fuel SHutOff system for 1979 cbx

Hi I recently purchased 1979CBX , Like to know if this version Is fitted with AutoShut Off fuelsystem ?
If not ?
what are the options ,
Where can i source this Kit ?
Will this be of help ?

From what I have seen very few 79's have the auto off. I think people added them from the later years. I have a habit on these old bikes to just shut the petcock off manually.

None of the 79s had it from the factory. Those who do, were retrofitted, either by dealers or owners did it. Complete kits are available ever so often, or you can buy a used vacuum valve separately. Make sure, you get the 1979 version with one outlet to the carbs.

I would not install the vacuum fuel shut off , I removed it from my '82. They have been known to fail and if you are counting on that to shut off your fuel and have a leaking float valve you are asking for trouble.
You shut the ignition key off every time , add shut off the fuel petcock to the list. Easy , foolproof.
