syncing issues

Post by ray bear »

I found my misfire and it was a blocked idle jet in #1 however have come across an issue I havent had with my old cbx but need to know what Im doing wrong with this new 79, but at 900 rpm cylinders 4,5 &6 come up good and 3,2&1 also evened out ok with all 6 gauges reading the same but when revs are increased to about 1800 to 2000 rpm cylinders 1,2,&3 are even in readings but different to 4,5,&6 which are showing a greater vacuum draw and also there is a difference of about 20 degrees in exhaust temperature between 123 & 456 ..Where am I going wrong with my syncing..thanks Bill

You might try syncing all your gauges to each other first. Manifold them all together and draw a vacuum. They should be adjustable. I have one that is finicky. However, not sure vacuum readings that far above idle mean anything.
