Great Service

Post by Tom Neimeyer »

Mike,

If I read the fine print correctly, for $19.95, I get the book and you clean my carbs?

I'll bet it's a good book and very helpful.

Cheers, Tom

Post by Mike Nixon »

All that in due time. I will defintely post here. The copy on eBay right now is a prototype. As to cost -- I am still reeling from the cost of that first copy... Color printing is expensive, but black and white just dpesn't seem good enough. :D Everything should be finalized by next week.

edit 5-25 Not to worry. Got a commitment from the printer to make excellent quality b/w versions of the booklet. :D

Mike, you have outdone yourself with that book.

I know what is involved with proper cleaning of this style of CV carb and the effort it took to document it.

Good work. :thumupp:

Thanks, Ray. Coming from you that is a compliment indeed. :)

The booklet is in stock, ready for delivery. I have ten copies sitting on my desk. $24.95 plus shipping (domestic, continental shipping is $3.85 for USPS Priority Mail). Note this is for the black and white version, which is what I am going to stick with as long as the quality remains high. See sample below. 35 pages, 130+ images. I still have a few color copies left also, but they are way too expensive to produce. They will likely be eBayed. :D

PayPal to mikenixon@earthlink.net. Send a separate email also, same address, just in case PayPal doesn't notify me of your payment.

edit 5/24 -- Note: Currently, the b/w booklets are on eBay. Please do not use eBay to purchase a booklet, where they are $10 more. ICOA members buy direct and save!

edit 5-27 -- A reminder: Shipping within the contiguous U.S. is $3.85. Outside is of course more. Alaska and Hawaii are a bit more.

edit 6-05 -- Canada is about double, or $7.00. Scandinavia and most of Western Europe (including the UK) are about triple, that is, $9.00. Italy doesn't accept USPS Priority Mail, so airmail there is about $13.00. Thanks! :-)

edit 7-15 -- Valve and Charging System booklets also available. Go to

http://www.motorcycleproject.com/motorc ... knook.html for details.

Color is now available, $54.95 and on a print-on-demand basis. :-)

Carb Book

Post by Tom Neimeyer »

I just got my B&W Version today. I had to stop what I was doing and look it over. I am very impressed with the clarity of the photos. Additionally, the information is top notch, and presented in a manner that a common person like myself can follow it easily.

Mike, you did a great job!!! 8)

Carb Book

Post by Jim-Jim »

Mike,

I'm trying to reach you through 'reply' in your PM, but everything is going to my 'Out Box', so I don't think you're getting them. Please let me know if you are; otherwise contact me directly through email: jjbigger@juno.com

If anybody knows what the heck the 'Out Box' is for and how to get the stuff in there out, please let me know.

Thanks

Jim-Jim

I've heard that all outgoing messages land in the outbox (until) the recipient looks at it.
It ain't the destination, its the journey...
