Carb fuel-line T bypass'es

Post by silversurfer1050 »

A friend of mine re-plumbed his carbs with t-fittings between the carbs. Apparently if a needle stuck, you wouldn't hydrolock it.

If anyone has a diagram or could sketch it, that would be a big help I could make a nice CAD drawing of it and post it up

Not sure what you mean by 'T fittings between the carbs'. Did he replace each little fuel joint with a manufactured T? Or just replace the vacuum valve with one T? Anyway, the simple solution is the same: Turn the fuel off!

Agree: "the simple solution is the same: Turn the fuel off!" Don't be concerned about forgetting to turn it on. That is a self-purging thing. (Sometime, ask me how I know.)
