My 81 CBX has been sitting for the past 7 - 8 years. I just retired, and am getting it running again. I took the carbs apart (rebuilt them 8 years ago) cleaned them out, and flushed out the gas tank. It idles, but bogs badly when trying to accelerate. Does anyone have a diagram of where all the hoses on and around the carbs go?
Thanks very much, Ron

Re: Carb hoses diagram
The simplest way to view the schematics is to go to one of the online parts sellers like (BikeBandit) and look through the schematics online.

Re: Carb hoses diagram
Ron,
After cleaning and before installing the carbs, did you bench-check them to assure the accelerator pump was functioning correctly? If it idles well, and runs well at any/all constant speeds, and accelerates smoothly when opening the throttles slowly, that would be my first thought.

I would say you still have internal carb issues. But check all the external stuff first as it's easier than pulling them again, but I'd plan on it.
