WOW
I love heavily-modified customs, but it's bikes like this that made me try to keep the stock looks as much as possible in a few key areas.
Beautifully done - now go have fun getting it a bit dirty.

Your bike looks fantastic, Paul.
No doubt you know the front sprocket cover bolts and washer should be black.
I have a spare set that i can send you.

Yes - I had them re-plated silver by mistake. Have already got some replacements on the way, but thanks!
Paul.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

And here we go again...
I couldn't resist It, bought myself another CBX... It's another '79 Z model, so will have a matching pair of silver and red. Condition is OK - "cosmetically challenged", but largely complete / original.
Started stripping it down this week, and intend to restore it over the next 2-3 months. Will probably start new project thread at some point.
Paul.

When I saw the red bike, I thought "that looks pretty nice!"
Then I went back and looked at the final pics of the silver bike again, and now the red bike looks like it needs a ton of TLC.
Luckily we know it's in very capable hands.

I wonder how many of us have said the same thing...."i couldn't resist it, bought myself another CBX".
It is NOT an addiction, it is a hobby.

nah it's an addiction, a sane person would choose a Vespa or Honda Cub as a hobby.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:I wonder how many of us have said the same thing...."i couldn't resist it, bought myself another CBX".

CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage
