IVI CBX Custom Frame

Post by Imagine!VehiclesInt »

I posted a thread previously of my completed CBX Titanium. I have pictures of the custom frame, new electronics and the team who worked so hard to build it.

You did mean "art" right Rick? I used my magic wand there :-).

Thank you so much for sharing your construction photos, I love those too. Fantastic craftsmanship and creativity is evident on every piece of your bike that I can see. Bravo, it really is rolling kinetic sculpture to me, form and function.

Yes, I meant "art". See what happens when you type without your glasses?

Getting old sucks, but NOT getting old REALLY sucks.

Hi Steve,

The frame is a combo of Steel, chrome , moly trellis and Billet aluminium spars. We are planning an elaborate video for next week. It will be done at the famous Los Angeles Crest Hwy. We'll keep you posted!!

This makes me cringe. The members here deserve a little more credit regarding their level of knowledge about metallurgy.

Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy Steel or Chrome-Moly, CrMo is an alloy steel intended for high temperature and high pressure services. Chrome-Moly is used in the power generation industry and the petro-chemical industry because of its tensile strength, corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Chrome-Moly has a better strength to Weight ratio than steel, which enables designers to use thinner wall pipe or smaller diameter tubing to reduce overall weight.
